AOL: Disney saw secret business data
New flap between rival media giants as documents detail AOL's plans to compete against broadcast networks.

America Online Inc., which is seeking approval to acquire Time Warner Inc., said a bitter rival received confidential information about AOL's strategy to compete against broadcast networks and the terms of contracts for AOL's interactive television.
Disney,which owns the ABC broadcast network, has admitted its outside lawyer, Larry Duncan of Liipfert Bernhard McPherson and Hand, passed on sensitive information to Disney officials who had not signed agreements to keep the information secret, documents showed Friday.
