MP3.com [MPPP] after Wednesday's close reported a pro forma net loss for the fourth quarter of $0.05 a share, beating the First Call consensus estimate by $0.08. MP3 shares surged 24% in after-hours trading.
Celestica [CLS] late Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $0.52 a share, compared with $0.22 during the same period last year. Analysts polled by First Call expected $0.44 a share. The company also said it would
double revenue again by 2003. Shares of Celestica rose 10% in after-hours trading.
Shares of InterTrust [ITRU] soared 33% in Wednesday's after-hours session following the announcement Nokia [NOK] was acquiring 5% of the company for $20 million as part of a licensing agreement.
After Wednesday's close, StorageNetworks [STOR] reported a fourth-quarter loss of $0.36 a share, beating Wall Street forecasts by $0.08.
Digital Lightwave [DIGL] reported a fourth-quarter profit of $0.40 a share, compared with $0.13 during the same quarter last year. Analysts polled by First Call expected $0.26 a share. Digital shares gained 7% in after-hours
trading.
