- BusinessWire

PETACH TIKVA, Israel, Nov 9, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TTI Telecom International Ltd. (TTIL) , a leading provider of integrated, turnkey software solutions for telecom service providers, today announced unaudited results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2001.

Revenues for the third quarter of 2001 reached $16.0 million, an increase of 45% versus $11.0 million for the third quarter of last year. Operating income rose 65% to $3.3 million compared with $2.0 million for the same quarter of 2000. Net income for the quarter reached $3.7 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, versus $2.5 million, or $0.21 per diluted share, last year.

Revenues for the nine months ended September 30, 2001 reached $43.7 million, an increase of 41% versus $30.9 million for the same period last year. Operating income rose 59% to $8.9 million compared to $5.6 million for the same period of 2000. Net income for the nine months reached $10.0 million, or $0.86 per diluted share, versus $6.6 million, or $0.57 per diluted share, last year.

"Our performance this quarter is a continuum of 19 consecutive quarters of revenue and earnings growth," said Meir Lipshes, chief executive officer of TTI Telecom. "Our strong revenue growth was driven by follow-on orders from our installed customer base, including one with a large North American cellular service provider. We believe this steady stream of follow on orders is a testament to a high level of customer satisfaction with our solutions.

"We remain confident in our future despite the challenging macroeconomic environment," continued Lipshes. "Demand for our solutions remains strong both in the U.S. and Europe as tier-one service providers look for ways to increase the efficiency of their networks, reduce headcount and costs associated with managing their networks and manage the deployment of new services. As a result, our pipeline of opportunities is growing while we take steps to capture additional opportunities in the markets we serve. We have expanded our sales coverage by adding sales resources in Europe and opening an office in North Carolina to support the North American market. We have also signed a strategic marketing relationship with Inovia Telecoms to further penetrate the DSL network management market."

Concluded Lipshes, "We have the financial resources available to support our growth plans for new product development, product enhancements and expanded market coverage. We ended the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of $45.9 million and were cash flow positive. We continue to manage receivables very carefully and this quarter we improved on our already stellar collections rate. We are confident in our ability to continue to execute today while laying the foundation for our success tomorrow."

GD38).

Ciao, T.
